Hi, I’m Kate, a Chicago-based food and beverage photographer and director. I’ve always had an eye and love for even the smallest details, and that shapes the way I shoot—I try to carefully organize and capture every design detail just as I see them.

But food and drink have such heart, soul, freshness and life. They can be so unexpected. So at each shoot, I control what details I can, then let my subject do its own thing and draw me in.

I love finding just the right lighting and angles to enhance vibrant colors, lush textures and delicious appeal—the things that make food and cocktails such sensory experiences.
